In order to promote students’ awareness of environmental protection and to equip students to master how to meet the real needs of the community, a 4-day family study tour to Taipei was organized for our students and their parents from June 15 to 18.
The tour was packed with a range of exhilarating activities including a visit to the Cha Shan Fang Soap Factory, Shimen Wind Power Plant and Cape Hoek Lighthouse. They also visited the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and Tzu Chi Bade Environmental Education Station to learn about the history and environmental protection and conservation of Taiwan. On the last day of the trip, they had an opportunity to do social services for the local charity.
It was truly a memorable trip for our students and their parents.
