Creating a caring school campus & enhancing classroom management
We always aim to help enhance the moral development of our students. A programme known as ‘Buzzing Time’ has been introduced in our school so as to provide more ample opportunities for our students and teachers to interact and communicate in their everyday school life. We believe that a harmonious, caring school environment can lighten up the minds and development of our students on their paths of growth. All students, on an individual and need basis, can also be guided and assisted in working out the goals to be achieved under the support, care and advice of their teachers and peers for establishing a positive perspective and attitude towards life, stretching their potential and abilities to the fullest.
營造關愛校園,推動班級經營
本校著學生重品德教育與情意教育,設有親親老師親親同學時段,加強師生交流,推廣關愛文化,締造和諧校園,我們深信一個滿有關愛的校園,定能促進個人健康愉快的成長。老師深入了解每位學生的獨特需要,與他們共同訂定目標,在師長的關愛及同學的互勉下學習和成長,協助他們建立積極的人生觀,盡展所能,為世之光。
Curriculum of Life Education & Positive Education
We always care about the metal health of our students. Our school has joined as a member in the network programme, titled Development Students’ Positive Attitudes and Values QEF Thematic Network offered by the University of Hong Kong on positive education and life education, with courses conducted for classes of different grade years. Besides that, we have two booklets, ‘Personal Growth Handbook’ and 《心靈成長小冊子》 (in Chinese only), written with messages and stories around the yearly school theme to be shared. We also have the School-based Guidance Programme~A.S.K Scheme implemented, enabling students to record the achievements they have gained in different areas, through which they can build up a pleasant character, learn about their strengths and stretch their potentials and leadership skills to the fullest.
正向教育及生命教育課程
本校關注學生的身心靈健康。本校自2016年度開始,成為香港大學《培養學生正面態度和價值觀》主題網絡計劃的夥伴學校,各級設有正向教育及生命教育課程,另有校本的《成長手冊》及《心靈成長小冊子》,除有全年主題及品格小故事分享外,還有A.S.K計劃,讓學生紀錄自己全年各方面的表現,養成良好品格,讓學生發掘自身的品格優點,發展潛能及領導能力。
Nurture students’ leadership skills and stretch one‘s ability to the fullest
With a view to stretching students’ potentials most fully as well as enhancing their self-esteem and sense of belonging, the Student growth has developed the practice of assigning each student at least one particular role in serving the school, aiming to help develop their enthusiasm to serve. Examples of these roles include those played by committee members serving the Students’ Union and the school prefects.
