Local tour programme arranged for our Primary 2 classes

The learning activities scheduled those two days went most smoothly and swiftly.  Through joining the Wun Yiu Exhibition and visiting the Heritage of Mei Ho House, a glimpse of the everyday lives of people in the past of Hong Kong was brought to our students, reminding them of the need to be thankful for the pleasant life they have nowadays.  Meanwhile, our students were also escorted to the supermarket for developing an actual experience in selecting and purchasing food items needed for making a healthy dish of sandwiches, which required them to work out their budgets as well as making reference to nutrition labels in advance.  Another challenge introduced to them was completing the task of learning to sew a handy bag, as targeted in a little workshop conducted for them. We meant to guide our junior learners to apply the knowledge and skills gained in their everyday life practices.
