In order to help develop students’ enthusiasm for conservation and scientific investigation, the school arranged our students to join the programme of Disney Youth Education Series (YES). About 270 students and their parents carried out hands-on and interactive activities at Hong Kong Disneyland on 11 July 2018.
Our P.1 to P.3 students joined the Disney’s Animation Magic Programme to learn to draw Disney character using simple geometric shapes and create kineograph and thaumatrope. Our P.2 to P.4 students learnt to appreciate the importance of protecting the environment and understand the biological diversity and the relationships between different organisms by joining the Disney’s Environment Exploration Programme. Lastly, our P.4 to P.6 students participated in the Synergy in Science Programme to learn about how the synergized show elements enhanced the audience experience. It was truly an enjoyable learning experience for our students.
