Our Primary 1 and Primary 2 students had a fruitful trip of learning at the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Garden in early November 2017.
Alongside with lessons assigned for the module of animals and plants in the subject of General Studies, a visit to the Garden helped facilitate students’ learning. The guided tour also enlightened students to a broader understanding of mammals, birds and reptiles. Apart from referring to pictures provided in textbooks, students could see the real orangutans and lemurs bouncing and jumping right in front of them.
All students enjoyed their field trip, with heightened awareness of the need to protect the natural environment.
