Ms. Lam Chui Ping Crystal, starting to take up the role of the Principal of Kowloon True Light School (Primary Section) in 2024, has been devoting herself to serving our school since 1997. Proudly as an alumna of both our primary and secondary school sections, Ms. Lam embodies the spirit of “True Light as Home.” She pursued her undergraduate studies in Chinese Language and Literature at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and upon graduation, returned to her alma mater to begin her teaching journey.
With a heart rooted in justice and compassion, Principal Lam believes that every child deserves to be nurtured with fairness, empathy and respect. Her unwavering commitment extends to every member of the school family, including students as well as their parents, alumni and teachers, fostering care and connection among all.
Principal Lam is passionate about guiding each student to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and the pursuit of excellence. She is devoted to broadening students’ horizons by offering them diverse learning experiences beyond the classroom, helping them realize that learning, a lifelong pursuit, can happen anytime and anywhere, not confined by time or space. She hopes every child will fall in love with learning and they learn not only with skills but heart, while placing equal emphasis on character building and development of self-respect and compassion for others. Guided by Christ, she leads by example—encouraging students to serve the community and shine as lights in the world.
